Player Awards Frustration (10/12/2010 09:18)

One of my personal hopes this season was to win 3 player awards. I was hopeful going into the season that I could pull down the best midfielder, defender & keeper. Midfield looks good, defender is a cluster of quality players at the moment but my frustration is at the keeper position. As mentioned in the last post, I haven't conceded a goal in 14 matches, I also haven't allowed a shot on goal in 9 of those 14 matches. Thus, my keeper has little opportunity to perform well. He is consistently putting up performances of 50 which is getting on my nerves but in the end, I'll take the wins.

 15 shutouts now, this match I allowed one shot on goal giving my keeper a positive performance :)

 I know it's cheap but I have the opportunity to buy a 17-year-old that will win both most goals & best attacker. This will go along with my best midfielder to get the 3 player awards I set out to get this season. Hmmm...is it a little cheap to satisfy my personal goals this way? No. Of course not!

 Oh yeah, & since an attacker that wins best youth, most goals & best attacker nets me 3M +9 credits. Potentially an additional millilon bucks + 7 credits. we'll see.
